Durand Open Space

Share

This trail around grain fields provides a relaxing and fun walk. The site is farmed for wildlife to attract birds, and features a crossing to the bosque. Known by residents and pilots as the “P-Patch”, the landing strip and an adjoining hanger were used to conduct aircraft repair and restoration. Following the closure of the landing strip in the 1970s, the property reverted to agriculture. Log In or Register to favorite trails and keep track of your walks!
